ACHTAN, Goddess who was the mother of ancient Irish king
Cormac mac Airt. Her father was druid Olc Acha, and she was
offerred to the High King, Art mac Cuinn to sleep with and so
Cormac was born. It seems a contrast to me, having a druid
for a father, and then she was given so as to become pregnant!
This is an oil painting.

This rather skew-wiff photo (!) is called Ancient Forest, in my mixed media style. I have also collaged some spirals in to it, so very Celtic.
I will put it in Quoll,but also may keep it for our Ireland to Island exhibition some time.
