Oil on canvas, en plein air painting, and finished off at home. It is on the road to Primrose Sands, where I live, looking over the bay towards Mt Wellington. Although it is middle of winter (yeah, right!) we have had little rain, so the paddocks are all still very dry and yellowy green in colour.

It was a beautiful day, yet had rain clouds threatening to come over, when I went to Marion Bay, South East of Tasmania - about 1/2 hour from where I live. This is a rivulet that runs out to the beach and the sea.
It was roughly blocked in while I sat on the sand, then I drove home and finished it off. It is oil on canvas.

Well, here is another life drawing in charcoal. This model is Angela, the previous one was Deidree. Although I don't sell these works - they are all done on cheap news paper, but I am planning on using some of the stances and shapes in Celtic Goddess paintings that I am about to start on. They won't be nude of course, but......

I thought it was time you saw a bit of charcoal drawing of nudes!!
This is quite a quick and rough one - well, aren't all of mine like that? I drew this at life drawing last Thursday, July 8, 2010.
This work is an oil and collage of the Ring of Kerry in Ireland. I want to use celtic knots and collage images as well as a basic painting in this series of works that I am starting to do. I plan on having an exhibition called From Ireland to Island with my friend Sue Banks.
